A few years ago, GM presented a revived Trailblazer and we all believed that the company would finally discontinue Chevy Trax, which has been in production for more than a decade. However, this small crossover still remains in production, despite some outdated design solutions. Simply, it still marks good sales numbers and there is no need for such a move. Moreover, it looks like the company wants to bring a few minor updates for the 2023 Chevrolet Trax. The list of options isn’t long and includes only a couple of options, such as remote start and cruise control.
When it comes to safety features, it’s easy to notice that some modern systems are missing, due to the outdated platform. Therefore, a rearview camera is the only standard safety feature. Additionally, you can get goodies like blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, rear parking sensors etc.

Things under the hood definitely won’t change and the 2023 Chevrolet Trax will continue with just one engine option on the offer. That would be a good-old 1.4-liter turbo-four, developed by Opel. This engine puts out around 155 horsepower and offers decent driving dynamics. The engine comes in pair with a 6-speed automatic transmission which is slow but shifts pretty smoothly.
