The 2024 Toyota Venza will represent the fourth production year of the revived nameplate in North America and from what we know so far, it may get a few important updates. At this point, the officials are still quiet but different sources suggest we could see a new, optional powertrain, which would offer better performance than the current hybrid setup. 2024 Toyota Venza Could Get New Powertrain Option!?
At this point, the 2024 Toyota Venza is available with just a single powertrain. That is a familiar system that already powers models like the RAV4, with a system based on a 2.5-liter inline-four. This Atkinson-Cycle engine gets help from a couple of electric motors, for a combined output of 219 horsepower. Although that doesn’t provide spectacular performance, drivers benefit from petty impressive fuel economy for an SUV, which goes around 40 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
However, many believe that Venza, with its stylish appearance and high-quality interior, deserves something more capable. We believe that it’s still early for a mid-cycle refresh. Therefore, the 2024 Toyota Venza most likely won’t feature significant design changes. We expect to see the same styling, which definitely looks more attractive compared to most Toyota models. When it comes to updates, we presume that the 2024 Toyota Venza could bring some additions to the list of standard equipment, but most things should remain the same. Therefore, we expect that most things will remain the same.
