The most popular mid-size luxury crossover has just been redesigned and comes even better than before. The recent overhaul brought a lot of important upgrades, including a completely new engine lineup. There are four powertrain options on offer – three of them are hybrids. The fourth one carries the familiar RX 350 moniker but comes with a completely new engine. Considering that the new model has just been presented, we are pretty sure that the 2024 Lexus RX 350, which will represent the second production year of the generation, will come without more important updates.

2024 Lexus RX 350 Design
Design-wise, the 2024 Lexus RX 350 will continue in the same way. The recent redesign brought a lot of novelties, starting from the new styling, that look more elegant than before. The profile is sleeker, while the front face doesn’t feel too polarizing anymore. Considering the very fresh design, we presume that the second-production year won’t bring any important updates, except for minor tweaks like new color options and similar things.
The same is with mechanics. The new platform provides better steering response and less body lean but the overall character of the vehicle is still mostly about the smooth and comfortable ride. Also, there is the F Sport package, which brings suspension and brake upgrades. As a result, the ride is a little bit more engaging, but also slightly stiffer.
Interior
The same is with the cabin layout. We are about to see the same design that was introduced recently, which brings notable changes compared to the previous generation. Just like the previous generation, the new model features excellent build quality but it looks like the materials are even finer, while the dashboard looks more elegant. The front seats aren’t just spacious, but extremely well-shaped. Traditionally, Lexus makes excellent seats and the new model is no exception. The second row delivers a similar level of comfort.
The cargo area offers around 30 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and that’s relatively decent for the class. On the other hand, 46.2 cubic feet with these seats folded is way below average ratings for the segment.

We presume that things will remain mostly the same, though there is always a chance to see a couple of additions to the list of standard equipment. 2024 Lexus RX 350 Engine
Things under the hood will certainly remain the same. Despite the “350” moniker, the new generation doesn’t feature a 3.5-liter V6 anymore. Instead, it comes with the new 2.4-liter turbo-four, which puts out around 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. That’s less power compared to the previous V6, but also notably more torque. Combined with the new 8-speed automatic transmission, the new model actually offers a little bit better driving dynamics.
Besides good overall performance, this crossover also offers pretty good fuel economy. You may count on about 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which is pretty impressive for the class. Of course, AWD models are slightly thirstier.
