Well, the Eclipse Cross is even better if you want to save fuel. However, the driving experience and comfort are not a match to the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.

Well, 220 horsepower would be too much for the Sport edition. So, the company could pair a 2.0-liter mill with batteries, to make either a mild-hybrid or the PHEV system. Trim Levels, Colors and Other Changes
S, ES, LE and SE were packages available for the crossovers with a smaller engine. The GT used a 2.4-liter mill. Compared to the lineup of the all-new Outlander, the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport should reshuffle options. The SEL model will take the place as the top of the range version. Also, the GT will stay in the lineup, but with more options. A hybrid setup will use packages of higher tiers.
The base crossover is not going to be there to impress buyers with anything else but the price. So, a small engine, basic equipment, and no advanced options will make it cost pretty much the same as it is priced now. The MSRP starts from $23,000. The GT version will be over $30,000. A hybrid engine will increase the price further. Still, the MHEV is definitely not as expensive as the PHEV configuration.

The crossover is positioned somewhere between the subcompact and compact crossover class with a total length under 175 inches. That means the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will compete with Nissan Rogue Sport and Chevy Trailblazer. This is a new segment in the market but seems to be more popular than the mini SUV tier. If you still want a smaller crossover, then the Mitsubishi Eclipse Sport is a choice.
